My solo exhibition, the first in about 30 years, went down on Saturday at the end of the "Open Studio" events in Kiryat Hamelacha in Tel Aviv. The truth is, the finale was tremendous, in the presence of many wonderful visitors, compared to the opening which was for me nothing less than a "mockery of fate", for in those very hours I accompanied my younger brother to his final rest and did not attend the gallery during the first week of the exhibition. What's more, the exhibition dealt with childhood memories of my parents' home. Luckily for me, my partners and friends at the "Living Room for Art" - where the exhibition stood - joined hands, divided the gallery opening times and opened the exhibition for me with a few hours' notice. Thank you all, I was blessed !!! And a heartfelt thank you also to the critics, friends and fellow artists who came to share with me the unique experience of putting on a solo exhibition.
