A series of acrylic works on canvas, each 80X80 cm, made during 2020 and deals with a unique story of the signing of Aznait Negev named Rosa, about Yaakov Segal who cared for her at the Tel Aviv University Zoo during his 27 years of work there. Rosa saw Jacob as a mate, and used to serve him twigs so that they would build the nest together and share in the nest. Yaakov Segal was my father, and I knew closely the special connection between him and Rosa the Azania; A connection that was the subject of much interest, research and even a doctoral dissertation. This series "Daddy's Rose" is part of the preparations for my solo exhibition "Memories in Two Layers", which was scheduled to open in the Art Living Room in February 2021, but was postponed due to the third closure.
