Estim Drori Hayut Curator: Esti Drori Hayut Curator: Dr. Nira Tessler Omer Tirosh Gallery is proud to present (Chapter), the solo exhibition of the multidisciplinary artist Esti Drori Hayut. In the exhibition, curated by Dr. Nira Tessler, presents a series of recent stabilizers and assemblies. Her work relies on various chapters in her life, when the motive for the contemporary chapter began to form in her mind following a serious accident during a hike in Gilboa, in which she dislocated her elbow, suffered small crises in several places and needed rescue by helicopter. Her works are frontal, mainly, a kind of frozen icons of the self, which contain a wealth of events, feelings and later insights also in relation to her past. In the portraits of Drori-animals, there are internal struggles and completely different patterns of thinking and doing: on the beauty side, the destruction is evident - and its restraint; The attempt to erase its being - followed by re-exposure. The piano keys she received as a child from her grandmother, made their way to her recent works as a kind of support and joints of memories.
