Seeing Transparent - Malina Gvaram Curator: Dr. Nira Tessler The solo exhibition Seeing Transparent by the artist Malina Gvaram, which opens on September 7, 2019 at the new Artists' House in Rishon Lezion, deals with the human, humanitarian and philosophical aspects that arise from the act of building separation walls between populations. They are opaque, and their opacity marks the opposite population as transparent. In the current exhibition, miniatures on disk covers, acrylic works on transparencies and canvases, alongside large-scale works on used corrugated cardboard and paper bags made of paper she found at a construction site in her hometown.
