Teaches painting and drawing and lectures on art history. She curates at the Rishon Lezion Artists' House, and has exhibited her work in many group kits in Israel and abroad.
Jan Hirsch Birkenfeld
Born in Argentina. She studied painting and drawing with the Argentine artist Orochua. Immigrated to Israel in 1972. Studied painting at the Avni Institute and graphic design at the Technion branch in Tel Aviv. Holds a bachelor's and master's degree in art history from Tel Aviv University and is a graduate of the House of Israeli Art at Tel Aviv-Yafo College.
Teaches painting and drawing and lectures on art history. Curator at the Rishon Lezion Artists' House. She has exhibited in solo exhibitions, including at the Mabat Gallery in Tel Aviv and at the Mishkan La'Omanut, Beit Me'uruf in Holon and the Artists' Pavilion in Rishon Lezion Participated in many group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including in Paris, Punta del Este (Uruguay), Madrid and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Engaged in painting, installation and video art.
Member of the professional association of plastic artists in Israel.
